The Reweaving Support Project is about building collaborative capacity within the community then between community and government sectors to reimagine and recreate our social safety net in Manitoba. To do this we are building our capacity for collaboration and systems change through a TASK approach; Tools, Attitudes / Aptitudes, Skills and Knowledge.  Individuals nor even individual organizations can change systems, it takes collaboration and strong movements to change big systems like those in the social safety net.

There will be a schedule of capacity building and training sessions, as well as other resources posted on this site in the areas listed below. Some of the capacity building will be in person training sessions, these will be video taped and available on this website as much as possible, other capacity building will be video presentations, along with other print materials. The project will host the capacity building content through a platform called Learn Desk linked here.

Through the project a community of practice of collaboration for systems change will developed with you, partners who share this vision and the goals of equity, sustainability, democracy and inclusion.

There are three main phases of the project with capacity building for each phase.

The capacity building outline includes:

1.- Outreach and building community networks collaboration and movements for change.

2.- Reimagining the social safety net completing the change matrix for systems change

3.-Collaborative governance and co-creating with government
